Instructions

  1. Crush the fennel seeds slightly with a spoon or mortar and pestle to release their oils.
  2. In a teapot or cup, combine peppermint leaves and fennel seeds.
  3. Pour hot water (just under boiling) over the herbs.
  4. Cover and steep for 8–10 minutes.
